Our Story

I’ve played pickleball when it was so hot that we would sweat through our shoes. I’ve played pickleball when it was so windy that you had to hit the ball out of bounds just to get it to land inbounds. I’ve played pickleball when it was raining so hard that you couldn’t breathe through your nose or you might choke. I’ve played pickleball when it was so cold that we couldn't feel the paddle in our hands. And of course I’ve played pickleball until it was so dark out that we had to listen for the ball to know when the other team served. And each time I played in these conditions, I was just happy to be playing the game I love with the people I love. But I’ll be the first to admit that it would have been nice to be playing inside a conditioned building when the weather is less than ideal.

And thus the dream was born: a fully conditioned and illuminated indoor pickleball space that is open 24/7 all year. It's a daunting undertaking for any avid pickleball player, but with the support of the entire pickleball community in the State College area, I know that we can accomplish it. I'm looking forward to partnering with each and every one of you to bring this dream to life.

I’ve worked in the construction industry for 12 years including laborer, construction manager, and designer. I’m familiar with many of the local architects, engineers, and contractors who will be qualified to design and construct this facility. I’m looking forward to using my construction experience and industry contacts to efficiently complete this project.
